Honey Bacon Mustard Vinaigrette

This dressing was served in our Sweet September meal. Honey can actually go in just about any vinaigrette you make, but it's so much better with bacon.

  • 2 tablespoons bacon fat
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspooons red wine vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup honey

1) Fry about two slices of bacon. You will need two tablespoons of bacon fat, so you might need more bacon depending on what you use.

2) Measure two tablespoons of the fat into a small sauce pan. Reserve the bacon to use in a salad.

3) Add to the saucepan the red wine vinegar, dijon mustard, and honey. Stir over low heat until fully mixed.

4) Serve warm over a spinach salad.
